Mandate

To bridge divides within the sex-working community, and between the sex working community and society, through advocacy, engagement, media, education, and relationships in order to improve sex worker outcomes in policy, law, support services, higher education, housing, and commerce.

Mission

To be the national voice in advancing a pro-sex work and pro-sex worker agenda that improves the human rights, dignity, working conditions, and self-determination of sex working people.

Guiding Principles 

Work for the safety and autonomy of all sex industry workers regardless of race, religion or belief, ethnicity, cultural background,  gender identity, gender expression, disability, accessibility needs, medical choices, health choices, body type, appearance, age, political affiliation, sex work location or sex work conditions.

Keep the experiences of BIPOC, disabled, gender diverse, those who have experienced exploitation, and outdoor sex workers  centered in our  work toward social justice and social change to increase quality of life, human and labour rights for ALL sex industry workers. 

Promote progressive thought, forward thinking and positive change for the empowerment and education of sex workers and the community at large towards destigmatization and decriminalization. 

Ensure inclusion of diverse sex worker community perspectives and expertise regardless of what venue they represent in the sex industry.

Create sex worker opportunities for leadership and engagement in working towards our individual and collective goals.

Create safer spaces for all sex workers to express their individual unique experiences.

Recognize that our diverse experiences are our strength and that no one's voice should be silenced or diminished. 

Work for the removal of all references to sex workers, our clients, business operators, support staff and our families as criminals in policy and law including and beyond the Criminal Code of Canada.
